An exceptional experience
The HUAWEI FreeClip earbuds feature an open-ear design, allowing you to hear your surroundings while using them, without completely closing the ear canal. They boast an innovative design that sits behind the ear and is secured by a flexible bridge called the “C-Bridge.”
Design and wear:
- Each earbud weighs approximately 5.6 grams , making them very light.
- The design does not go too deep into the ear canal, which makes it easier to wear for long periods and reduces the feeling of pressure inside the ear.
- The “C-Bridge” bridge and the part that touches behind the ear (“Comfort Bean”) are designed based on the shapes of thousands of ears to ensure stability and comfort.
- The headphones themselves are loaded with an IP54 rating for splash, dust and water resistance, but the case is not protected with the same rating.
- The box is small and relatively light, making it convenient for everyday carrying.
Connectivity and technical advantages:
- Bluetooth version: 5.3 , which means a modern and stable connection.
- Supported audio codecs: SBC, AAC, LC3, L2HC — enabling higher quality when using devices that support these codecs.
- It supports multi-connection between two devices at the same time, according to some sources.
Battery life and charging:
- Each earbud is equipped with an approximate 55 mAh battery, and the case contains approximately 510 mAh.
- Music playback: Up to 8 hours using headphones only, and up to approximately 36 hours with the case.
- Charging: via USB-C port, and also supports wireless charging (up to approximately ~2W).
- Fast charging feature: Approximately 10 minutes of charging can provide several hours of use.
Sound and call quality:
- There is no strong active noise cancellation (ANC) system due to its open design, which means that sound insulation is not perfect.
- The microphones and sound capture system are suitable for everyday use and calls.
